Chapter 5
Did this happen or was it all a dream?
I slowly open my eyes, afraid I might break the spell from last night. I turn to the right and there he is, sleeping like an angel with a possessive hand rested against my soft stomach. I guess it really did happen. I lift my head to scan the room and I’m shocked by the telltale signs of our sexual abandonment—my garter belt on the armchair next to the window, my panties swinging off of a lampshade, my dress still pooled on the floor where I left it, my bra lying on top of my silk nylons and a pile of his own clothing. Jesus, it’s worse than the set of a porn movie.
I scan the room, trying to find the time. It’s only seven-thirty. I lift his arm as gently as possible to avoid waking him up and slide my body quietly out of bed with the initial thought of wrapping my dress around my nakedness, but I decide against it when I flash back to a vivid scene from last night—Max spewing his milk all over my stomach and boobs after he fucked my pussy to the point of no return. Maybe not. I tippy-toe out of the room like a mouse in search of a bathroom to clean up and a robe. I can’t possibly walk around in front of him without any clothes on in broad daylight. I need to cover up.
I close the door softly behind me and when I turn around, I gasp. I forget my quest when I approach the window, mesmerized by the view displayed at my feet. My God, this is absolutely breathtaking. Only the very rich can ever afford to admire Central Park from this vantage point—I guess for today I’m able to enjoy a view of the city very few will ever be privileged enough to soak in.
There’s not a cloud in the sky and I’m able to see as far as the eye can see. Wow! This is truly outstanding. When I feel safe enough and realize no one can catch sight of me this high up, I get closer. I lift my hands up at the level of my waist and I place the tips of my fingers against the glass as I take in every possible angle of this magnificent city. Maybe if I get all the way up on my toes I can see even further. I swearif I squint hard enough, I most likely could catch a glimpse of Coney Island from Max’s penthouse.
I’m lost in my thoughts, soaking in Manhattan’s beauty, when his voice startles me.
“And here I was thinking I already had a spectacular view to wake up to every morning, but seeing the sun shine against your naked body is truly a vision.”
His comment freaks me out and I immediately turn around, struggling to hide my body. No, no, no, this cannot be happening. He can’t see me without clothes on. It’s too bright and I have too many lumps.
